EBOOST - NHL Players and the House9 Hockey Foundation

Posted by Nick on Oct 01, 2010

Eboost was proud to take part in the 3rd annual House9 Hockey Foundation celebrity charity game hosted by the Detroit Redwings Aaron Downey. The event took place at the Eddie Bush Arena in Collingwood Ontario.  The day was a huge success and featured NHL stars such as the Redwings Chris Draper, Mike Komisarek, 2010 Stanley Cup winner Brad May, Chris Neil, Steve Ott and Jaime Tardiff.  There was Eboost in all the dressing rooms making sure the guys had all the fuel they needed to get thru the game.  We are proud of the incredible work that Aaron and his foundation are doing in the area of youth access to the great game of hockey. Eboost Canada wishes all the players a successful quest for the cup in the 2010 2011 season ahead.

Here is a great shot of the boys in their Eboost hats post game!

About House9 Hockey Foundation:

The House9 Hockey Foundation is a not-for-profit organization that helps provide children with the necessary sports equipment and fees required to participate in minor hockey. Through the great support and teamwork of players and members of the hockey community, volunteers, friends, family, performing artists, and sponsors, the foundation helps children play one of the greatest yet most expensive sports in the world. We believe that children can accomplish greatness if given the opportunity and thanks to many who believe the same and are assisting us, this is what we are starting to see happen with our House9 sponsored minor league hockey players.  The foundation started in the summer of 2008 with a charity hockey game in Shelburne, Ontario between the House9 Stars, (a mix of NHL, semi pro and local players) and the Senior A Mens local team the Shelburne Muskies.  With over 100 volunteers including the players, together we’ve seen what teamwork can do.
Please join us in supporting kids in their pursuit of playing hockey so that they can become what they dream of, and what we dream for them to become.
