Team Eboost starts to prepare for the 2011 Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer

Happy 2011 everyone, I couldn’t think of a better way to kick off the year than by announcing our cycling team for this very big event and fundraiser. Team Eboost is being assembled as we speak, and we truly honored and excited to participate in this wonderful event.  We are on a conquest indeed and already have 25 riders signed up and ready to peddle their heart and lungs out. The RTCC is a cycling journey through Canada’s Pacific region taking place this June, and it is our teams goal to raise two hundred thousand dollars for the Foundation and its partners. The ride is 240 kilometers over 2 days, starting on June 18th in Surrey BC and finishing in Seattle Washington on the 19th. Our team will be boosting all the way to finish line you be guaranteed of that. We are proud to announce that Eboost founders Josh Taekman and John McDonald of NewYork City will be flying out West to join our team on this epic journey. We are also please to announce our other corporate sponsors that include; Three Point Mercedes Benz, Dueck GM Vancouver and Vancouver Island Fitness. We are honored to call these groups our partner.
Why this ride? Because we know that cancer is too big of a disease to ignore. It affects everyone, maybe you, me, our parents, kids, siblings or friends. Sadly, maybe all of the above. But by riding in this event we are doing something about it. We are rolling closer and closer to the end of cancer. Its an awesome triumph in a physical sense and emotionally as well.
